Charlotte, nicknamed the Queen City, is located east of the Catawba River. The region has a humid subtropical climate with hot summers averaging in the upper 80′s to low 90′s. The short winters cool the region with temperatures in the low 40′s. Charlotte experiences ample precipitation throughout the year with the majority arriving in January and March. The remainder of the year brings warmth and many days of sunshine. With it’s distinctive four seasons and it’s many pleasant days throughout the year, Charlotte makes for a wonderful community for both visitors and residents.
